A bill calling for a cabinet-level United States Department of Peace was recently re-introduced into the House of Representatives. House Resolution 808 (HR808) currently has 71 co-sponsors.
The Department of Peace will research, facilitate, and articulate nonviolent solutions to conflict, both domestically and internationally.
The Inland Empire Do Peace & Nonviolence Alliance (IEDOPNA) is a group of grassroots volunteer activists lobbying for the passage of this bill.
The IEDOPNA represent California's Inland Empire Area (Riverside/San Bernardino Counties) connecting with others to create a peaceful world.
